Our Seas, Our Life All Set for SM Megamall Exhibit

MANILA, 27 May 1998 - The Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) through its Coastal Resource Management Project (CRMP) and Coastal Environment Program (CEP), in cooperation with and the UNESCO-National Committee on Marine Sciences (NCMS), opens on June 4 its Our Seas, Our Life exhibit at SM Megamall for a period of over one month spanning at least four special events: Oceans Day (declared by United Nations Conference on Environment and Development, June 8), the Philippine Centennial Day (June 12), and Environment Month (the whole month of June) and Ocean Day (July 18).

          Our Seas, Our Life is a traveling exhibit showcasing the importance of ocean resources to life on Earth. It was first mounted in SM City-Cebu last February 15-March 15. This year's tour will also take the exhibit to Dumaguete City, General Santos City, and Davao City.
