In celebration of World Oceans Day, the CCEF in partnership with the Wildlife Conservation Society launched the Lend A Blue Hand campaign through a night of music and fundraising— Jam for the Coast last June 10, 2022, at City Sports Club Cebu. Featured during the event was CCEF’s Lend A Blue Hand Ambassador Hon. Donaldo “Dondon” Hontiveros and SOUL 8 band.
The purpose of the event is to generate funds to support the Lend A Blue Hand campaign’s goal of achieving and sustaining the five (5) fingers. Several people and organizations committed and provided their wholehearted support to the cause during the ceremony, which was attended by them. A night of delicious food, entertainment, and music as we honor and value our marine ecology.
CCEF raised a total amount of P132,000 from the generous and empathetic attendees and officially commit themselves to be a coastal warriors and helping our ocean. The commitment ceremony was led by the Lend A Blue Hand Ambassador Hon. Donaldo “Dondon C. Hontiveros.
