ABOUT THE COASTAL RESOURCE MANAGEMENT PROJECT Who We Are

kms by the year 2,000. This is both a goal and a battlecry for the
Coastal Resource Management Project, or CRMP. CRMP is a 5-year (1996-2001)
project which provides technical assistance and training to local governments
and communities in coastal resource management. It is funded by the US
Agency for International Development (USAID) and implemented by the Department
of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) in partnership with the Department
of Agriculture’s Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (DA-BFAR),
the Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG), local government
units (LGUs), non-governmental organizations (NGOs), and people’s organizations
(POs). Project management and technical support is provided by Tetra Tech
