The Coastal Resource Management Project is promoting leadership for sustainable coastal resource management.

The Coastal Resource Management Project is a five-year (1996 - 2000) technical assistance project implemented by the Philippine government through the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR), and funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).

This site aims to be a catalytic platform on coastal and ocean issues where experiences, solutions and success stories can be shared and spread, uniting coastal communities in the Philippines and around the world in oneocean.

Implementing Principles:

* Contributions to oneocean are welcome and required.
* Those with Internet access have the responsibility to share information with those who do not. In particular, academic institutions and those who have the most ready access to the Internet and can download information from oneocean must share the information with local government units, students and non-governmental organizations.
