On January 31, 2025, in Barangay Hingotanan West, Bien Unido, Bohol, CCEF hosted the Turnover Ceremony for the MPA Guard House project, “Safeguarding Marine Treasures: A Corporate Initiative to Protect Hingotanan West Marine Sanctuary in Bohol.” This project benefits the Hingotanan West Fisherfolk Association (HiWeFa).
Made possible with the support of Booth & Partners, this initiative is part of the “Adopt-an-MPA Program”, a key effort under CCEF’s Lend A Blue Hand campaign, which promotes marine conservation while supporting sustainable livelihoods.
