September 24, 2019— a meeting was held at the Cebu Provincial Capital for the selection of representatives to the local special bodies. CCEF was one of the newly elected CSOs to represent in the Cebu Provincial Development Council of Cebu.
Pursuant to DILG MC No. 2019-72 all accredited Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) are encouraged to participate in the selection of representatives to the local special bodies. A total of 20 CSO representatives were elected during the selection including the Coastal Conservation and Education Foundation, represented by its executive director, Mr. Auburn Patrick Samson.
