| Abstract | Surveys conducted by WCS and CCEF in October 2022 examined the characteristics of a coastal small-scale fishery in Lower Cabangcalan barangay, Lazi municipality, Siquijor Province. The fishery is a multi-species, multi-gear fishery that includes a nearshore reef fishery component, as well as an offshore pelagic fishery. Three organisations are involved in the fishery; Triple M, Cabangcalan Fisherfolk Association (LCFA), SAAD, and a Women’s Association of which only LCFA has a sole focus on fishing. The LCFA is not an established association. |
