CCEF Presents UCF-funded Projects to the Local Government Units in Southeast Cebu

On January 9 and 10, 2025, CCEF presented the new projects funded by the Unico Conservation Foundation(UCF) in the municipalities of Argao, Oslob, and Santander, namely the โ€œ๐๐ž๐ญ๐ฐ๐จ๐ซ๐ค๐ข๐ง๐  ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐Œ๐๐€๐ฌ ๐ญ๐ก๐ซ๐จ๐ฎ๐ ๐ก ๐‚๐จ๐š๐ฌ๐ญ๐š๐ฅ ๐‹๐†๐” ๐€๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ข๐š๐ง๐œ๐ž(๐๐Œ๐‚๐‹๐€๐),โ€ ๐š๐ง๐ ๐ญ๐ก๐ž โ€œ๐๐ซ๐จ๐ฆ๐จ๐ญ๐ข๐ง๐  ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐‚๐จ๐ฆ๐ฆ๐ฎ๐ง๐ข๐ญ๐ฒ-๐›๐š๐ฌ๐ž๐ ๐„๐œ๐จ๐ญ๐จ๐ฎ๐ซ๐ข๐ฌ๐ฆ ๐ข๐ง ๐Œ๐๐€ ๐š๐ง๐ ๐Œ๐š๐ง๐ ๐ซ๐จ๐ฏ๐ž ๐€๐ซ๐ž๐š๐ฌ(๐๐ซ๐จ๐‚๐จ๐ฆ๐“๐จ๐ฎ๐ซ)โ€

These three-year projects aimed at fostering collaboration among LGUs in Southeast Cebu and Badian to enhance the management and protection of MPAs and promote sustainable ecotourism in mangrove and MPA areas to empower local communities.

The mentioned LGUs have expressed their interest in and support for CCEF’s projects and initiatives. The project coordinators, Ranie Ibaรฑez (NMCLAP) and Celda Dinoy (ProComTour) will collaborate closely with these LGUs to ensure effective coordination and implementation of the projects.
