On January 28, 2025, the CCEF team visited the municipality of Badian to present new Unico Conservation Foundation (UCF) funded initiatives: Networking of MPAs through Coastal LGU Alliance (NMCLAP) and Promoting Community-Based Ecotourism in Mangroves and MPAs (ProComTour).
CCEF also visited the ongoing construction of the receiving area extension for the Bugas Farmers, Fishermen, and Livestock Owners Organization (BUFFALOO). This project is part of CCEF’s “Adopt an MPA” program, supported by its corporate partner, Booth & Partners.
