The newly formed “Protect Danajon Project Monitoring Team” has successfully completed the Coastal Habitat Assessment Training

The newly formed 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗗𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗷𝗼𝗻 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗺 has successfully completed the 𝗖𝗼𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗛𝗮𝗯𝗶𝘁𝗮𝘁 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 last September 18 to 22, 2023, held at Mario Dive Resort in Panglao, Bohol. The training encompassed various subjects centered around 𝗖𝗼𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗛𝗮𝗯𝗶𝘁𝗮𝘁 𝗘𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘆, 𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗹𝘂𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗲𝘀, 𝗦𝗲𝗮𝗴𝗿𝗮𝘀𝘀, 𝗖𝗼𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗥𝗲𝗲𝗳𝘀, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗙𝗶𝘀𝗵, as well as 𝗠𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗼𝗱𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗚𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗼𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗛𝗮𝗯𝗶𝘁𝗮𝘁 𝗗𝗮𝘁𝗮 and its subsequent 𝗘𝗻𝗰𝗼𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴, 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗔𝗻𝗮𝗹𝘆𝘀𝗶𝘀.Representatives from the Municipality of Loon, Municipality of Calape, Municipality of Tubigon, 𝗠𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗕𝘂𝗲𝗻𝗮𝘃𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗮, Municipality of Getafe, Municipality of Talibon, Municipality of BIEN UNIDO, Municipality of Ubay, 𝗠𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗹𝗼𝘀 𝗣. 𝗚𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗶𝗮, 𝗕𝗼𝗵𝗼𝗹, as well as participants from the Bohol Island State University – Candijay Campus and 𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗖𝗘𝗦𝗦 𝗕𝗼𝗵𝗼𝗹, actively participated in the training. Expert speakers from collaborating organizations, including the Bohol Provincial Environment Management Office and the DENR Central Visayas – 𝗖𝗘𝗡𝗥𝗢 𝗧𝗮𝗴𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗻 & 𝗖𝗘𝗡𝗥𝗢 𝗧𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗯𝗼𝗻, generously shared their knowledge and insights regarding monitoring techniques.Guided by the Bohol Provincial Environment Management Office, 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗗𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗷𝗼𝗻 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗺’𝘀 𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗺𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗿𝗼𝗹𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗿𝗲𝗴𝘂𝗹𝗮𝗿 𝗺𝗼𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀, which encompass the evaluation of damage in the aftermath of natural disasters and human-induced activities within the Danajon Bank Double Barrier Reef.
