After conducting the MPA
MEAT at Boljoon last October 23, 2019, one of the major issues the was brought
up was their inactive Management Committee. So instead of following the
previous set up of the MPA management body, the Municipality of Boljoon
suggested making a new ManCom thus we set up the meeting and conducted the MPA
management body reorganization activity last December 3, 2019.
During the activity, Ms. Michelle Baird presented a review of MPAs and its management and legal purpose. The status of their MPA was also presented based on the MPA MEAT results and then lastly, she presented different institutional arrangements with their advantages and disadvantages to give the attendees ideas on what kind of Management Body they want to create.
