CCEF highlights Unico Conservation Foundation-funded Initiatives for Southeast Cebu Local Government Units

On January 13 and 14, 2025, CCEF presented the new projects funded by the Unico Conservation Foundation(UCF) in the municipalities of ๐ƒ๐š๐ฅ๐ช๐š๐ ๐ฎ๐ž๐ญ๐ž, ๐€๐ฅ๐œ๐จ๐ฒ, ๐๐จ๐ฅ๐ฃ๐จ๐จ๐ง, ๐š๐ง๐ ๐’๐š๐ฆ๐›๐จ๐š๐ง, namely; the โ€œ๐๐ž๐ญ๐ฐ๐จ๐ซ๐ค๐ข๐ง๐  ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐Œ๐๐€๐ฌ ๐ญ๐ก๐ซ๐จ๐ฎ๐ ๐ก ๐‚๐จ๐š๐ฌ๐ญ๐š๐ฅ ๐‹๐†๐” ๐€๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ข๐š๐ง๐œ๐ž(๐๐Œ๐‚๐‹๐€๐)โ€, ๐š๐ง๐ ๐ญ๐ก๐ž โ€œ๐๐ซ๐จ๐ฆ๐จ๐ญ๐ข๐ง๐  ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐‚๐จ๐ฆ๐ฆ๐ฎ๐ง๐ข๐ญ๐ฒ-๐›๐š๐ฌ๐ž๐ ๐„๐œ๐จ๐ญ๐จ๐ฎ๐ซ๐ข๐ฌ๐ฆ ๐ข๐ง ๐Œ๐๐€ ๐š๐ง๐ ๐Œ๐š๐ง๐ ๐ซ๐จ๐ฏ๐ž ๐€๐ซ๐ž๐š๐ฌ(๐๐ซ๐จ๐‚๐จ๐ฆ๐“๐จ๐ฎ๐ซ)โ€.

These three-year projects aimed at fostering collaboration among LGUs in Southeast Cebu and Badian to enhance the management and protection of MPAs and promote sustainable ecotourism in mangrove and MPA areas to empower local communities.
