January 15, 2024, Cebu City – The Coastal Conservation and Education Foundation Inc. (CCEF), a member of the Cebu City Coastline Management Board (CMB), 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝗜𝗻𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 conducted in December 2023. This informative session was featured in Season 2, Episode 1 of the Cebu City Eco-Park Updates, on the Sugboanon Channel segment of the Coastline Management Board.
The CMB’s primary objectives encompass fostering active engagement from coastal barangays to enhance living conditions and promote peace and order in their respective jurisdictions. Additionally, the CMB aims to enhance the environmental quality of coastal areas and create sustainable livelihood opportunities for residents, contributing to the overall economic growth of the city.
