On July 25, 2024, the Protect Danajon Project held a Consultative Meeting for the Danajon Bank Interpretative Center in Talibon, Bohol. The meeting took place at Mayor’s Conference Hall Municipal Building, Talibon, Bohol, and brought together key stakeholders to discuss and refine the design, content, and graphical layout of the upcoming center.
Recommendations from the meeting included featuring interactive exhibits and visual displays that highlight Talibon’s rich cultural history alongside the Danajon Bank Double Barrier Reef’s ecological value. This approach aims to create a comprehensive and engaging experience for visitors, fostering a deeper understanding of both the local culture and marine conservation.
The feedback from the consultative meeting will be instrumental in shaping the Danajon Interpretative Center into a valuable resource for education and community engagement, underscoring the project’s commitment to preserving and promoting the Danajon Bank Double Barrier Reef.
