Sta. Mesa, Manila, October 19 – 20, 2023 – 𝐼𝐶𝑌𝑀𝐼: The 𝗖𝗖𝗘𝗙 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗺 has completed the 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗙𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗔𝘀𝗶𝗮’𝘀 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗽 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗥𝗖𝟮 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗲𝘀. The grantees participated in capacity-building initiatives to enhance their utilization of 𝗕𝗲𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗶𝗼𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 (𝗕𝗖𝗖) in their environmental 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁𝘀 𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗨𝗦𝗔𝗜𝗗 – 𝗚𝗥𝗙 𝗜𝗻𝘃𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝗻 𝗦𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗜𝗻𝗰𝗹𝘂𝘀𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗚𝗿𝗼𝘄𝘁𝗵 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗘𝗰𝗼𝘀𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺𝘀 𝗜𝗡𝗦𝗣𝗜𝗥𝗘.
The workshop covered essential topics, including an introduction to communication for development, participatory communication, and behavioral communication. Through this training, participants acquired valuable communication skills and strategies, focusing on the 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀, 𝗞𝗻𝗼𝘄𝗹𝗲𝗱𝗴𝗲, 𝗔𝘁𝘁𝗶𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲, 𝗣𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗲 (𝗔𝗞𝗔𝗣) 𝗙𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗲𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸 and the practical application of BCC theories within the context of environmental protection.
Furthermore, this comprehensive training instilled an appreciation for the pivotal role of effective communication by utilizing range of tools and platforms. In essence, the workshop gave participants the knowledge and skills needed for 𝗲𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, which, in turn, contributes to 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗱 𝗲𝗻𝘃𝗶𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝗯𝗲𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗶𝗼𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲.
