On June 17-18, 2025, CCEF, in partnership with the Argao LGU, held an Ecotourism Orientation for the people’s organization Nagkahiusang Mananagat sa Taloot (NAGMATA) in Taloot, Argao. Attendees included NAGMATA members, MAO Welfredo Abear, Tourism Officer Reche de los Reyes, and Barangay Councilor Arnel Albofera.
CCEF Executive Director, Evelyn Deguit, led the session to educate NAGMATA on sustainable tourism and their role in protecting the environment while creating responsible livelihood opportunities.
